Every
Mother-To-Be has the opportunity to take Advantage of this wellness-focused
program for prenatal education, care, and personal interaction with
clinical staff experienced in maternity care. Resources include access
to maternity nurses, a toll-free pregnancy hotline, and free customized
prenatal educational materials mailed directly to the home.
Healthy
Beginnings offers each expectant mother a maternity nurse assigned specifically
to her to provide screening for potential risks, answer questions, and
furnish educational materials. The nursing staff will be available and
regularly in touch throughout the pregnancy and post partum period as
a support resource for the new mother.
Designed
to promote a positive maternity experience, Healthy Beginnings also
assists with early identification of any possible risk factors and encourages
early intervention to help reduce the severity
and incidence of preterm and high risk birth.
